Joaquin Niemann gets big hug from girlfriend Christina Hillema Puga upon win
Joaquin Niemann put together a monster performance at The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif. all week, and his girlfriend was there to witness it.
Niemann, 23, set the 36 and 54 record at The Genesis Invitational with his spectacular week. He ended up going wire-to-wire as the leader to win the event at 19 under for his second career PGA Tour victory.
Joining the Chilean golfer at the event was his girlfriend Christina Hillema Puga. What was notable was seeing her hanging out with Sergio Garcia while watching Niemann bring home the title.
Garcia, Niemann, Mito Pereira and Carlos Ortiz all formed a big hug on the final hole. The four Spanish-speaking golfers spend time together while at events.
Sergio Garcia, Mito Pereira, Carlos Ortiz, Sebastian Munoz and Jhonny Vegas all stuck around to congratulate Joaquin Niemann.
The Spanish-speakers usually rent houses together on the road, use the same chef, have lively dinners. Makes them feel a little more at home. Cool stuff.

Christina often joins Niemann traveling to events with him. Last year she was at Augusta National with him.
She also was at The Players with him last year too.
And she was there for his big win. This win will help put Niemann on the map and show golf fans what he is capable of.
