Justin Rose makes first hole-in-one in Olympic history
The 2016 Summer Games in Rio were the first to include golf as a sport since 1904, meaning that when Justin Rose hit an ace on the fourth hole Thursday, it was the first hole-in-one in Olympic golf in at least over 110 years.

That shot put Rose at three under par as he had a birdie on the previous hole. He also kept up his strong play with a birdie on the following hole to make it four under for his first round, but he did give one stroke back on the next hole with a bogey.
