The accident occurred just after 2 p.m. Friday, according to deputies from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. There was no word on Woods’ status or whether he was injured in the crash. An eyewitness told TMZ Sports that a second vehicle was involved, and that Woods appeared to be okay, but that remains unconfirmed.
Woods suffered serious injuries in a February 2021 single-car rollover crash in California, and later characterized himself as lucky to be alive. It was later determined that speed was the main cause of that crash.
Woods, 50, has not played golf competitively since 2024. He had said in recent days that he was doing everything he could to try to be healthy enough to take part in next month’s Masters.
