Tiger Woods suffers wrist injury during final round at Masters

Tiger Woods had an injury scare as he was roughly halfway through his final round at the Masters on Sunday afternoon.

While he was hitting a shot from the pine straw on the ninth hole at Augusta, Woods appeared to catch his club head on a root. He immediately began wincing and favoring his right wrist.

Woods went on to make par at the ninth, but he hit a horrible tee shot on No. 10 that ended up tucked behind a bush. He ended up with a bogey there and still appeared to be favoring the wrist.

As you know, Tiger has battled a number of injuries over the last several years, the most recent of which was a back injury that forced him from a tournament two months ago. It’s unclear if injuries played a role in Tiger hitting these embarrassing shots earlier this season, but he has been incredibly unlucky on that front.

UPDATE: Tiger says the injury was a lot more severe than it looked.
