Meet 7-foot, 440-pound high school lineman John Krahn
The largest high school football player in the country may have been located.
Meet John Krahn, a 17-year-old from the Inland Empire area of Southern California, who plays offensive line for King High School in Riverside. Krahn is seven feet tall and weighs 440 pounds, according to MaxPreps. He hasn’t been playing that long, but he is a star in the weight room and working on his footwork.
“I’ve had minimal experience,” Krahn told MaxPreps. “I started in high school, but I’ve trained my way through, going to different camps.”
Krahn went to a development camp over the summer in Los Angeles and received interest from college coaches who said they would have even more interest if he lost some weight. For that reason Krahn says he is on a 3,000 daily calorie diet of fish and chicken.
The guy is quite the load and also a force:
He seems to be somewhat slow on his feet, but the guy sure can clog an A-gap on the defensive line.

Man, what we wouldn’t give to see an Oklahoma drill between him and this tiny 95-pound running back.
