Artemi Panarin missing Tuesday’s Columbus Blue Jackets game due to illness led to some speculation that the absence was more trade-related. Columbus head coach John Tortorella is here to assure everyone that is not the case.
Tortorella shared graphic details of Panarin’s illness to clear up the questions.

Panarin has 67 points in 56 games this season. He has been viewed as a trade candidate ahead of Monday’s deadline.
