Someone at TD Garden is having a little fun with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Chicago Tribune hockey writer Chris Kuc tweeted a photo of the wireless networks available at TD Garden (presumably in the press area) for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Blackhawks and Boston Bruins, and one of them is named, “Kane is a weenie.”
Patrick Kane has 15 points in 19 playoff games this postseason for the Blackhawks, including a hat trick in a Game 5 series-clinching win over the LA Kings. Chicago fans love him. This will not go over well with them. I fully expect the United Center to respond with a “Zdeno Chara is a goblin” network in Game 5.
