Pekka Rinne makes wrong kind of history in Game 7
Pekka Rinne made the wrong kind of history in the Nashville Predators’ Game 7 against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.
Rinne allowed two soft goals in the first 11 minutes of the game to put Nashville in a 2-0 hole and got yanked. According to Sportsnet, that was the quickest hook for a starting goalie in Game 7 history.

Rinne had stopped just five of seven shots before being pulled. It was actually his third time getting pulled this series. Juuse Saros came in to replace him.
After posting a 2.31 goals against average in the regular season, that number shot up to 2.94 in the postseason for Rinne.
