Ryan Clark reignites his feud with Robert Griffin III

Robert Griffin III once again waded into controversy relating to Angel Reese, and ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark is going in with him.

Clark rekindled his feud with Griffin on Friday by posting a video criticizing comments Griffin recently made about the Chicago Sky forward. In a video posted to X, Clark questioned why Griffin made himself “both the victim and the hero” in calling out a racist depiction of Reese and asked why Griffin is so determined to defend Caitlin Clark “against the young, angry black woman.”

Clark ended the video by suggesting that people owe former ESPN commentator Rob Parker an apology, alluding to Parker’s controversial comments in 2012 in which Parker infamously questioned Griffin’s “blackness.”

“We all owe Rob Parker an apology. Because while he was early, he was right about RG3,” Clark concluded.

RG3 has a strange fascination with Angel Reese, or a connection to that spotlight it brings him… but this one was easy. He posted a graphic I didn’t see anywhere else of Angel as a Monkey. Just say, “That’s wrong!”

He couldn’t. He pointed out that Angel hurt him, & then lied… pic.twitter.com/SeLP69Oy9j

The video is in response to recent comments Griffin made about Reese in which he claimed members of Reese’s inner circle confirmed that he was right about her hating Caitlin Clark. Reese publicly disputed Griffin’s version of events.

Clark even bringing up Parker is a pretty bold move, as those comments cost Parker his job over a decade ago. Clark also got tangled up in a public dispute with Griffin in May over Reese that ended with the ESPN analyst apologizing for bringing Griffin’s family into the argument.

While Clark may have been apologetic for some of those comments, it is pretty obvious he does not think much of Griffin in general. He faced some blowback for his comments about Griffin two months ago, but clearly does not feel dissuaded from going after his former colleague again.
