Jon Jones called police officer ‘f—ing liar’ and ‘pig’ (Video)
Jon Jones was hostile with a police officer who pulled him over for allegedly drag racing in New Mexico last week. Jones, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, was captured on video calling an officer a “f—ing liar” and “pig” during their dispute.
Jones was pulled over early Friday morning and issued five citations. He was initially calm when approached by the officer, but things became contentious when they argued over whether Jones was drag racing.
Jones acknowledged that he revved his engine at a red light, but he denied racing someone. The Albuquerque police officer insisted that he did.
Here’s a sample of how the exchange went via TMZ Sports:
Jones: “Calling my lawyer, to ask him about this paper work. I’m sure I have the right to do that, buddy … f**kin’ liar. I can’t believe you.”
Cop: “Well believe it, cuz I’m not joking.”
Jones: “For no reason. F**king with me for no reason. What’s your name?”
Cop: “Officer Brown. It’s on your ticket, sir.”
Jones was stripped of his UFC title last year after being charged with felony hit-and-run. He was reinstated by the UFC in October, but he has not fought since last January. He is currently under 18 months of supervised probation.
