Max Holloway’s son, Rush Holloway, immediately savored his dad’s easy victory over Conor McGregor.
Rush had quite an adrenaline rush after seeing McGregor unable to continue in the main event of UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
“Who’s your daddy? Who’s your daddy, now?” Rush shouted from the cageside.

Rush might also have been channeling all that pent-up hatred for McGregor, especially after what the former UFC featherweight champion said about Max. In a promotional video for UFC 329, McGregor called Max his “child” and added that he was going to “son him again.”
Ultimately, it was those who paid to watch the fight who got sonned, as the bout simply failed to deliver on its promise of a great rematch between longtime rivals. McGregor defeated Holloway via unanimous decision in the first meeting back in 2013, but many consider the latter as the greatest MMA featherweight of all-time.
Judging from how intensely he uttered those words, Rush’s vocal cords appeared to have seen more work that night than either Max or McGregor. The fight lasted just a little over a minute into the first round, as the headlining bout proved to be the very definition of anticlimactic.
