When Ronda Rousey described the beating she took from Holly Holm back in November, she noted that her face was so injured that she could not even eat an apple. On Monday, the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion showed the world that she is on the mend.
In a video she recorded for Bleacher Report’s Uninterrupted, Rousey proved that she is now capable of taking a big bite of an apple.
“This just as of last night. No problem,” Rousey said proudly. “I’m biting apples again. I’m pretty excited about this.”
Rousey has clearly come a long way over the past four months. It’s good to see her in seemingly good spirits, especially after the disturbing revelations she made in a recent talkshow appearance (video here). Don’t be surprised if she comes out and dominates in her next fight.
