Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend Paulina Gretzky gave birth to the couple’s first child less than six months ago, but you would never know she was pregnant by looking at her.
Gretzky, the daughter of NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, has shared mostly baby photos on Instagram since little Tatum arrived. As you can see above, Paulina decided to show off her bikini bod prior to the U.S. Open.
Yowza.
Gretzky looks just as good now as she did when she was on the cover of Golf Digest. Dustin, her fiance, entered the final round of the U.S. Open at four under and tied for the tournament lead.

The Little Great One announced on Instagram Tuesday that she is pregnant.
“[Dustin Johnson] & i are so excited to finally share with you all our amazing news..we’re having a baby!!” she wrote on Instagram.
Based on the photo she shared, Paulina seems to be somewhat far along in her pregnancy. She was still sharing photos on Instagram of herself in July and did not appear to be pregnant then, but she hardly shared any photos of herself on the service from late July to September. The only photo she shared this month was of her concealing her belly with a robe/jacket:
Dustin Johnson announced last week that he is taking a voluntary leave of absence from golf to “seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced.” Couple that with a report about Johnson being suspended for six months for failing a drug test for cocaine, and many drew the conclusion that Johnson is heading to rehab. That doesn’t appear to be the case.
“Most thought [the announcement] was a hint that he was going to a treatment center,” Rosaforte said Wednesday. “Instead, he’s been up in Northern Idaho at Gozzer Ranch [Golf and Lake Club], hanging out with the Gretzky family, caddying for Paulina in the club’s ladies’ member-guest, and playing a lot of golf, playing almost every day.”
And apparently DJ’s golf game remains on point.
“He shot 61 this week, could have been a 59,” Rosaforte added.
It should be noted that Johnson could still be meeting with some sort of counselor and spending time with his future in-laws, but he obviously isn’t at any type of overnight rehab center. Remember that report we shared with you about Wayne Gretzky warning Johnson to clean up his act? Maybe The Great One is the therapist.
Dustin Johnson announced on Thursday that he is taking a leave of absence from golf, which came as a shock to most who have followed him this season. Johnson has seven top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2014 and has played well in majors, finishing 4th at the US Open and 12th at The Open Championship earlier this month.
In addition to his performance on the course, Johnson always seems to be killing it in his personal life. We know people use social media to mask their problems, but Johnson and his fiancee Paulina Gretzky are constantly looked at with envy. Dustin Johnson announced earlier this week that he will not be competing in the Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio. Johnson, who ranks No. 16 in the World Golf Rankings, cited a personal reason for withdrawing. Did hanging out with his lovely fiancee Paulina Gretzky have anything to do with it?
Shortly before Johnson pulled out of the Bridgestone, Gretzky posted the photo you see above on Instagram. She later deleted the picture, but the Huffington Post noted that it was captioned as follows.

Maybe it was a coincidence. The photo could have been taken a long time ago, or Johnson could have been spending time with his soon-to-be-wife. Just because he withdrew from a tournament for personal reasons doesn’t mean those personal reasons prevent him from hanging out with Paulina.

Paulina Gretzky made her controversial appearance on the cover of “Golf Digest,” and the subsequent feature interview about her is actually pretty interesting and informative.
In the interview, Paulina is asked about her future plans, her relationship with golfer Dustin Johnson, and her golfing background. She also revealed a cool detail about her relationship with DJ — the two were actually set up by Paulina’s mom, Janet.
“At the end of 2011, my mom played with Dustin in the Wednesday pro-am at Tiger’s tournament at Sherwood. She told Dustin about her daughter, blah-blah-blah, and invited him to the house that night,” Paulina shared. “I’m sure he was rolling his eyes, and so was I when my mom invited me over to meet this golfer she had just met. So I show up looking like a complete ragamuffin, and here’s this really cute guy. I didn’t stay long, but he was such a gentleman, so endearing. He’s always been that way to me. We exchanged numbers, and here we are.”
It’s interesting that she says they first met at the end of 2011 because the rumors about them dating didn’t come up until a full year later. Paulina began accompanying him to some of his events in early 2013, and they became engaged last August.
She says right now that her biggest focus is her relationship with Dustin and supporting his career. That means accompanying him to his events, which often causes a stir among gawking spectators, which is something she also commented on.
“Sometimes I feel like a zoo animal out there,” eh told Golf Digest. “People think I can’t hear them—but I can definitely hear you. If anything, just come over and talk to me. I’m not someone people should be afraid of. Everyone is usually very sweet, and there hasn’t been a bad moment for me. But I do feel more comfortable if I’m walking with someone. Of course sometimes I just want to watch Dustin play golf, and I hope people respect that. And you know what? They always do.”
You all got that? Next time you’re at a golf event and see Paulina there, don’t just gawk at her, say hi! She won’t bite!
Oh, and the other great part of the interview? How about Paulina saying she looked like a “ragamuffin”?! I’ve never heard that one, but that is great! Just taking a guess, too, but I highly doubt Paulina would look like a ragamuffin, whatever the heck that is.
Paulina Gretzky is on the cover of the May 2014 issue of “Golf Digest,” and that has left some LPGA golfers frustrated.
Gretzky is only tangentially linked to golf through her fiancee, Dustin Johnson, so the selection of her to appear on the cover as opposed to other women who actually play on tour and win events is troubling for some.
“It’s frustrating for female golfers,” Lewis said via The Times. “It’s the state of where we’ve always been. We don’t get the respect for being the golfers we are. Obviously, Golf Digest is trying to sell magazines, but at the same time you like to see a little respect for the women’s game.”
Golfer Juli Inkster is similarly frustrated.
“It’s frustrating because it’s Golf Digest, it’s not Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue,” Inkster told the New York Times. “I think they should maybe recognize some of the great women golfers that we have. It’s like, what do you have to do to get a little respect? I’m guaranteeing you right now, it was not a woman editor who chose that cover.”
She’s right — Jerry Tarde is the magazine’s editor in chief. He explained the decision to put The Little Great One on the cover.
“Sports figures, celebrities and models have appeared on Golf Digest covers since the magazine’s beginning. Paulina ranks at the high end of the golf celebrity scene today, and she has a compelling story to tell. She also might get some new people interested in the game.”
The Times notes that Golf Channel personality Holly Saunders and supermodel Kate Upton (who posed alongside Arnold Palmer) were the last two women to appear on the cover. The last LPGA tour winner to appear on the cover was Lorena Ochoa in 2008.
Look, they can be frustrated over the decision and everyone understands why. Putting Paulina on the cover of “Golf Digest” is a stretch. But they’re a media company and in the business of selling magazines and attracting eyeballs. Putting Paulina on the cover accomplishes that. End of story.
Paulina Gretzky is now engaged to PGA golfer Dustin Johnson, which I guess brings her that much closer to the game of golf. Earlier this month, we were surprised by a video Gretzky posted on Instagram showing her impressive golf swing. We were much less surprised to see her make a cameo in the new TaylorMade commercial.
Johnson is one of TaylorMade’s best clients, so it makes sense that his fiancee would be featured in an advertisement for the company that endorses him. TaylorMade obviously needed an attractive woman for their new “Speed Police” marketing idea, and we all know how Paulina can, well, bring the heat. This probably won’t be her last commercial.
Paulina Gretzky dates PGA golfer Dustin Johnson, but that does not necessarily mean she knows how to swing the sticks. We know Paulina is phenomenal at photo shoots and partying near outdoor fireplaces, but you might be surprised to see how well she can swing a golf club.
As you can see from the video above that Gretzky posted on Instagram, she actually has a pretty good stroke (we won’t go there). I mean look at this follow through:
Paulina Gretzky loves to party. Anyone who has ever spent a few minutes flipping through her Instagram photos could tell you that. Apparently her parents never told her that she needs to take extra caution when partying around an open flame.
According to TMZ, Paulina was spotted smoking a cigarette on the outdoor patio area of The Tipsy Goat in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on Tuesday night. When she turned to flick her cigarette butt into one of the lounge’s fire pits, a scary scene reportedly broke out.
We’re told as she turned … a corner of Paulina’s sweater slipped into the pit, and before she knew it the entire thing was engulfed in flames.
Eyewitnesses say Paulina and several bar patrons ripped off her sweater — or what was left of it — and onlookers jumped into action, extinguishing the flames.”
Paulina is supposedly fine and did not need medical attention. There was no word on if she was drinking or not, though history would tell us there is a good chance she wasn’t sober. To make matters worse, TMZ added that Paulina was once asked to leave The Tipsy Goat because she was dancing on the fire pit. And her sweater didn’t catch fire then? Go figure.
We know Dustin Johnson likes to party with his fiancee, but he may need to keep a closer eye on her. It sounds like The Great One’s daughter can be a liability.
