The huge publicity push for the ESPN 30 for 30 on Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan left Harding’s face plastered her across my TV screen the past few weeks. Seeing her over and over kept making me think that she looked just like someone, but I couldn’t figure out who.
And then it hit me: young Tonya Harding totally looks like actress Amy Adams.
I realize that nowadays this isn’t a flattering comparison for Adams. I mean nobody wants to be connected to Harding in any way. But it is pretty undeniable: I honestly can’t even tell them apart. If that weren’t a red carpet photo, I wouldn’t have been able to tell you which one was Adams and which was Harding.
