Barry Bonds beat Giancarlo Stanton, others in home run contest

Barry Bonds will turn 52 in just a few short months. The San Francisco Giants legend retired nine years ago and has slimmed down quite a bit since he last played, but he is still more than capable of putting the ball out of the park.

In fact, Bonds at 51 could be a better home run hitter than the freakishly-strong Giancarlo Stanton — at least in batting practice. According to SiriusXM Radio’s Craig Mish, Bonds beat Stanton and other Marlins players in a friendly home run contest on Wednesday.

Mish said he tried to put the end of the competition on social media but was unable to, though he insists it actually happened.

We don’t know anything about the rules of the contest, but does it really matter? Seriously, just look at these recent photos of Bonds. Stanton should be blowing him away. If you somehow think Bonds was purely a product of steroids, this should make you reconsider.
