David Ortiz decided to commemorate his 10th and final All-Star Game selection with a special tattoo.
The Boston Red Sox DH added a new tattoo on his left hand that features a red star with the number 10 inside.
Here’s a close-up look at the tattoo:

It’s wild to think about how far Ortiz has come in his career. It wasn’t until he was 28 and in his second season with the Red Sox that he made his first All-Star team. He clubbed 41 home runs that year in 2004 and finished fourth in MVP voting. He finished top-five in MVP voting for five straight seasons, made the All-Star Game nine out of 10 straight years, and he’s part of the 500 home run club.
