Bradley Beal suffers leg injury, carried off court (Video)
Bradley Beal had to be carried off the court Friday after suffering what appeared to be a left knee injury in the fourth quarter of the Washington Wizards-Minnesota Timberwolves game.
Beal, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, went to set a screen and somehow hurt his leg in the process. He tried to get up but struggled to move, and he had to be carried off the court by teammates.
It looked like Beal may have bumped knees, which is often extremely painful. Coach Randy Wittman apparently indicated after the game that that is what happened.
This tweet is from Wizards reporter Michael Lee:

The Wizards later said Beal’s X-ray was negative. He is scheduled to have an MRI on Saturday.
Beal had 14 points in 26 minutes in the 120-98 loss. Russell Westbrook and Al Horford had bad injury news revealed on Friday. Hopefully Beal’s name won’t be added to the list.
