Chris Bosh responds to questions about basketball activities (Video)
With the NBA season getting closer by the day, an ever present topic around the Miami area is the status of Chris Bosh. On Monday, the 11-time All-Star wanted everyone to know he has been participating in basketball activities.
Bosh missed the end of last season as a result of a blood clot being discovered in his left leg. It marked the second consecutive season to end early due to blood clots, with the previous one being cut short due to one on his lung. After undergoing treatment, Bosh is hopeful he can return to the team for the upcoming season.
During his absence, Bosh had been receiving questions about whether or not he has been playing basketball and he answered them with two posts on Twitter. In the first, he emphatically confirms he has been hooping. In the second, Bosh showed he’s still more than capable of knocking down a long jumper.
Everybody keeps asking if I'm hooping.Yes,I'm hooping.I'm a hooper MRCHRISBOSH On Snapchat #TeamBosh #Basketball pic.twitter.com/pXPdRe7fJe

With the Heat losing Dwyane Wade to the Bulls via free agency, they could certainly use Bosh back on the floor and performing like we have become accustomed to seeing. However, a potential comeback would need the green light from doctors, which has not yet happened.
In an email to fans earlier this month, Heat owner Micky Arison hinted at a return by Bosh. If that ends up being true, we’ll see the veteran big man hooping again for real in the not-so-distant future.
