Darrell Arthur was ejected from Friday’s Cavaliers-Nuggets game after pushing Dion Waiters while the Cavs guard was in mid-air going for a layup.
Waiters was running in transition and decided to cut straight to the basket for a layup attempt towards the end of the first quarter. Waiters went down to the ground after being pushed by Arthur, who initially was called for a normal foul.
Officials reviewed video of the play and upgraded the call to a Flagrant-2 foul on Arthur, which meant an automatic ejection. Look at this shove:
