Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has clearly learned a trick or two from general manager Vlade Divac.
In Saturday night’s 114-112 upset victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Cousins busted out a flop so egregious that James Naismith is probably spinning in his grave.
The two-time All-Star was running back on defense when he got tangled up with Thunder big man Steven Adams. In an attempt to free himself, Adams swung his arm downward and made incidental contact with the front of Cousins’ jersey. Cousins responded by trying to sell enough whiplash to make you think he was auditioning for a part in a J.K. Simmons movie.

That’s downright shameful.
Then again, with Cousins nearing the finish line of yet another insufferably bad Kings season, might as well make the most of the time you’ve got and test the extent of what you can get away with.
