I am glad that the people on this website agree that Brand is more to blame than his agent or the Clippers. After all, Elton has the agent working for him, not the other way around. Evidently Elton had a change of heart after badly misleading the Clippers. Mike Dunleavy says he has several phone and text messages from Brand saying how much he looked forward to playing with Davis.
I’m not sure how it would have played out, but the Clippers could not make a play to re-sign Maggette even if they wanted to, since they put their eggs in Brand’s basket.
Jeff J. is right on target. All of these spoiled brats have their priorities all screwed up.
By the way, Elton took a lot of Clipper paychecks this past season for very little contribution. I know it was an injury, but maybe, just maybe, he owed Clipper fans a little something.

Its a damn shame. Think how good they would have been with Brand and Baron. Obviously Brand cares less about winning and more about more money than anyone in the world would know what to do with.

The outrageous sums these people make, while regular hard working Americans are losing their homes makes me sick.
