LeBron James is now following the court-rushing fan on Twitter
LeBron James gave a nice reward to the fan who ran onto the court during the Miami Heat-Cleveland Cavaliers game Wednesday night by following the youngster on Twitter.
The fan, later identified as James Blair, ran onto the court during the fourth quarter of Miami’s huge comeback. He was wearing a T-shirt that said, “We miss you” on the front, and “2014 come back,” on the back, which was his way of telling James to return to Cleveland.
After realizing that the fan was one of his biggest fans, James gave the kid a pat on the head before he was escorted off the court at Quicken Loans Arenas. LeBron gave the fan an even better gift by following him over Twitter Thursday.
Blair, whose Twitter following has exploded to over 7,000, had been hustling LeBron for a follow. James finally responded:
“@jamesblair06: @kingjames appreciate you showing love when I came on floor last night follow back homie!!!! #TeamLeBron“(Yesir! Brave guy)

Blair changed his Twitter banner to the picture of James giving him a handshake during the court-storming incident. He says he will share his side of the story Friday after his court appearance. For now, things seem to be working out perfectly for him.

I just hope this doesn’t encourage other LeBron enthusiasts to follow his lead. Whatever the case, James continues to improve his image with yet another fan-friendly gesture. He’s had plenty of those this year.
