Magic Johnson: Michael Jordan would take LeBron one-on-one

Magic Johnson believes Michael Jordan is one of the most unstoppable forces in NBA history and that the former Chicago Bulls legend would cream LeBron James in a game of one-on-one.

ESPN has been running daily features on Jordan legend leading up to his 50th birthday on Sunday. One of the debates the network tried to ignite on Tuesday was who would win in a one-on-one game between Jordan and LeBron. The debate has a little more spice given how well James has been playing lately.

Magic, who is an NBA analyst for ESPN and one of the best players all time, chimed in on the debate via his Twitter account.

.@sportscenter Easy answer MJ all day, every day!#MJvsLeBron

Michael Jordan is a 6x Champion 6x finals MVP and one of the most unstoppable forces this game has ever seen. #MJvsLeBron

If MJ and LeBron played 1-on-1 10 times, MJ would win all 10. MJ is the ultimate 1-on-1 player! #MJvsLeBron

Just because Magic believes MJ would demolish LeBron one-on-one doesn’t mean he thinks lowly of James.

I truly love @kingjames‘ game. He is the best all around player we have today! #MJvsLeBron

I think most people would agree with Magic. Though James would have a size advantage over Jordan, LeBron is more of a team player than one-on-one player. James could take most players one-on-one, but we’re talking about Michael Jordan here who refuses to lose.
