Zach Randolph, Kendrick Perkins reportedly in postgame altercation near locker rooms
Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman tweeted about the postgame altercation following the Memphis Grizzlies’ 107-97 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
“After getting ejected in the 4th quarter, Kendrick Perkins & Zach Randolph had an altercation near the locker rooms. Police investigating,” Mayberry tweeted.
“Police captain saying an altercation did not take place and there is no investigation underway,” he later reported.
Sounds like the police were trying to cover up whatever did take place, because Mayberry insisted something happened.
A mouthpiece remained on the floor near the Thunder’s locker room for a while long after the game. Something happened back there.

A different Oklahoman reporter added more details.
As @darnellmayberry says, there may be no investigation under way, but a NewsOK staffer heard yelling and walls and doors being hit.

Below is a video of Perkins and Randolph being ejected late in the fourth quarter after trading words:
If you had told me that two NBA players were involved in a fight by the locker rooms after getting ejected earlier in the game, I would have said Zach Randolph was involved. That dude is just as hard as it gets. He’s beefed with several players in the league, including Blake Griffin. I have no doubt something went on between him and Perk after the game. We just need to get some in-arena camera footage of it.
