Jamal Murray crying after loss to Indiana

Jamal Murray may be a one-and-done player, but you can’t accuse him of not caring about his team.

Murray was crying in his locker while being interviewed by the media following Kentucky’s second-round loss to Indiana in the NCAA Tournament Saturday. You could hear him sniffling and see his eyes wet with tears:

Remember this when you hear someone say that one-and-done players don't care about their time in college. #BBN pic.twitter.com/64TfI28Rsx

Jamal Murray: "I'm going to miss playing basketball with these guys. It's done. Our season's done." Breaks down crying again.

Murray averaged 20 points and five rebounds per game during the season, but he shot just 7-of-18 for 16 points in Saturday’s defeat.

Projected as one of the top picks in the 2016 draft, Murray obviously has strong feelings about his Kentucky family and feels a great deal of disappointment over the Wildcats’ early exit. Of course, after seeing how well IU played, now we know exactly why John Calipari was so upset over Kentucky’s placement in the tourney.
