Duke QB Daniel Jones out indefinitely after surgery on clavicle
Duke’s promising start to the 2018 season has been marred by a couple of key injuries.
The school announced on Sunday that starting quarterback Daniel Jones is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on a fractured left clavicle.
Jones was 29 of 39 for 389 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions this season. He had led the Blue Devils to wins over Army and Northwestern.
Cornerback Mark Gilbert is out for the season after undergoing surgery on his hip.
Duke’s next game will be on Saturday at Baylor.
