Jay Paterno’s Tree Was Cut Down and He Wants Some Sympathy

Jay Paterno, son of ex-Penn State coach Joe Paterno, tweeted Sunday evening to complain about his tree being cut down.

“Thanks to the person who cut down our Spruce true. If you need a Christmas tree ring the doorbell & I’ll give you cash to buy one,” he wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted.

Paterno tweeted quite a bit Sunday about getting prepared for Christmas and being in the holiday spirit, so this fit in. But it’s pretty sad that this is what he’s doing.

Paterno got the sympathy he was looking for from a few followers before he deleted it. Aww yes, let’s all feel badly for Jay Paterno, who’s still a coach on the football team while his father has been fired. Still a part of the football program that appears to have covered up years of child sex abuse to protect its image. Let’s all feel badly for poor Jay Paterno.

Thanks, @2Teresa
