The saga involving DeMarco Murray, Brennan Clay, and their lovers apparently is not over yet.
Clay is a former Oklahoma running back who accused his wife, Gina D’Agostini, of having an affair with Murray, his ex-Oklahoma teammate. Clay even released the incriminating text messages allegedly shared between Murray and D’Agostini. Though Clay and D’Agostini appear to have patched things up in their relationship, the same cannot be said for Murray.
Murray and girlfriend Heidi Mueller initially appeared to be doing fine in their relationship despite Clay’s accusation, but now a report says the two are no longer together.
Murray missed Cowboys practice on Thursday and stayed at home with a reported illness.
“He was feeling good enough that he could have practiced, but everybody thought it was better for him to get the rest,” Jones said Friday on 105.3 The Fan.
Murray returned to practice on Friday, leading us to believe the illness may not have been all that serious. In fact, Deadspin reports that Murray really missed practice because he was dealing with a personal matter at home; Mueller supposedly left him.
According to Deadspin’s source, Clay got some revenge on Murray by sending Mueller nude photos of the Cowboys running back. How did Clay get the pictures? Because Murray apparently has a habit of fooling around with other women, and several Oklahoma women sent Clay the photos after he initially leaked the cheating story on Twitter.
There are multiple signs that Mueller left Murray, too. She removed a reference to him from her Twitter bio; she undid/deleted tweets that included positive messages about the Cowboys/Murray; and she posted a note to her Instagram account Friday that seems to be a reference to cheating in relationships:
