Derrick Henry will be utilized in a variety of roles within the Tennessee Titans offense during the upcoming season.
Henry is preparing for his third season in the NFL after starring at Alabama. To this point in his professional career, he has primarily made his living running between the tackles while splitting time with DeMarco Murray. While his main job this will still be to carry the football, it appears Henry will be more involved in the passing game than ever before. ESPN reporter Turron Davenport says Henry has been utilized in a receiving role during camp.
4. It looks like #Titans RB Derrick Henry will be more than just a bruising RB. There was an emphasis on him catching the ball out of the backfield. They even flexed him to the slot a few times.

During his rookie season, Henry was targeted on passes 15 times. Last year he saw 17 attempts come his way. Tennessee has a new offensive coordinator in Matt LaFleur who will implement a new system. It looks as though that could be featuring Henry as more than just a bruising runner.
