There has been no shortage of people commenting on the Colin Kaepernick national anthem protest, and the latest to weigh in is San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice.
Rice sent a tweet on Monday night in which he said “All lives matter.” He also said Kaepernick should not “disrespect” the flag by refusing to stand for the anthem.
All lives matter. So much going on in this world today. Can we all just get along! Colin,I respect your stance but don't disrespect the Flag.

The Hall of Fame wide receiver’s comment was met with outrage from some on Twitter.
Jerry Rice is just another in a long list of black athletes who once they got their $ forget exactly who they are and where they came from

Jerry Rice worked on his footwork all those years so he could tap dance, apparently.

Kaepernick’s decision to protest the anthem has been a polarizing one. The NFL issued a statement saying they encourage but do not require players to stand for the anthem. Many players have either supported or opposed Kaepernick’s move. The strongest response of all came from the San Francisco Police Officers Association, which had this to say.
Now we know where the NFL’s all-time leading receiver stands on the matter.
