Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly rips critics on Instagram
Matthew Stafford had a very rough game on Sunday, and his wife is not happy with some of the criticism coming his way.
Kelly Stafford came to the defense of the Detroit Lions quarterback, criticizing fans and media alike who haven’t played the game for some of the barbs directed at Stafford after the Lions’ 24-9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

It doesn’t take an NFL player to tell you that Stafford probably erred in running this pivotal play in Sunday’s loss. That’s where the bulk of the criticism is coming from, and much of it warranted. Stafford has had a very good season and will be fine, but simply had a bad day on Sunday that he’s probably quite eager to move on from.
