Robert Kraft trolls the Mannings after Peyton’s Super Bowl win
Patriots owner Robert Kraft just couldn’t resist reminding Peyton and Eli Manning who has the most Super Bowls.
Kraft, speaking to WCVB-TV in Boston, said that, impressive as the accomplishments of the Manning brothers are, Tom Brady still has four.
“I happened to see Archie [Manning] there,” Kraft said, via ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “He has two sons who have won two Super Bowls [each]. But with all due respect, we have one son who has won four.”
Ah, but Bob, Eli’s two came at the expense of Brady. Tom could have had six and Eli could have had none. What could have been?
Speaking of what could have been, Kraft said that his biggest regret of the season was that the Patriots had to play the AFC Championship game on the road.
“I think if I have any regret, it’s that the conference championship game wasn’t played here in our hometown,” Kraft said.
The Patriots could have hosted the title game, but lost their final two games of the season against the Jets and Dolphins, which allowed the Broncos to slide into the number one seed and secure home field advantage.
Brady may have more Super Bowls, but you can bet he’s not satisfied. He even admitted before the game that he’d be jealous of Peyton if he won it. Don’t think he wouldn’t like a fifth to surpass both Manning brothers combined.
