Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch was so excited about sacking Aaron Rodgers on Sunday that he injured himself. After bringing Rodgers down in the first half, Tulloch jumped up and emphatically mocked the Green Bay Packers star’s “Discount Double Check” dance. He immediately fell to the ground and grabbed his knee.
Tulloch walked back to the locker room under his own power but was later seen on the sideline with an ice bag on his knee. He was out of uniform, meaning his day was over.
Tulloch is the same guy who Tebowed after sacking Tim Tebow a few years ago, so we know he likes mocking opposing quarterbacks. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the last laugh this time around. Hopefully the injury is nothing serious. Having to leave the game after that is embarrassing enough.
