For those of you who haven’t heard of PGA golfer Will Wilcox, just think of him as the guy who likes to bump hip-hop music on the driving range. And fellow PGA tour player Brandon Steele is the guy who obviously doesn’t like it.
On Monday, Wilcox sent a sarcastic tweet to Steele apologizing to him for playing Drake music on the driving range at the Traveler’s Championship last week.
@Brendan_Steele hey dog sorry for upsetting u with that Drake on the range last week #whatisthismiddleschool

When Steele responded on Tuesday morning, it became obvious that Wilcox’s apology was in no way sincere.
@willwilcoxgolf no dog. It's the @PGATOUR act accordingly

@Brendan_Steele couldve asked me to turn it off an wouldve done so happily

@Brendan_Steele was more referring to the tattle tale approach u took

While it may be hard to believe, that isn’t even the most entertaining Twitter beef we have seen between professional athletes this week.
You can see where both guys are coming from. If Wilcox wants to listen to music while he warms up, he should probably do it with headphones on at a volume that can’t be heard by other players. And if Steele had a problem with the music, he should have just asked Wilcox to turn it down (assuming that didn’t happen).
