Patrick Roy and Bruce Boudreau get in huge fight (Video)

Patrick Roy is in his first year as coach of the Colorado Avalanche, and he wasted no time showing the passion that made him a fiery player.

Roy got into a massive yelling match with Anaheim Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau after the Avs’ 6-1 win on Wednesday night. There were a few incidents on ice in the final minute of the contest that preceded the shouting match between the coaches.

With around 30 seconds left, Ducks defenseman Ben Lovejoy seemed to go out of his way to trip Nathan MacKinnon by the boards. Then with seven seconds left, the Ducks scored their first and only goal of the game. On the ensuing faceoff, a few players began to scrap by the benches, which led to the fight between the coaches after the horn sounded.

Roy called out the Ducks for the “cheap shot” on Lovejoy, while Boudreau called Roy “bush league.”

“A coach has no right to start yapping at players. I told him it’s bush league,” Boudreau said after the game.

Bush league or not, who could not enjoy Roy losing his mind like that and flipping out? That was awesome.
