Usain Bolt is apparently the ‘neighbor from hell,’ throws crazy parties

When Usain Bolt isn’t setting world records and working on maintaining his reputation as the fastest man alive, he apparently likes to have a good time.

According to some of his neighbors in Jamaica, Bolt’s propensity for partying has become an issue.

The Daily Mail reports that Bolt has developed a reputation in Kingston for hosting noisy parties that spill into the wee hours of the morning. Jodi ‘Jinx’ Stewart-Henriques, a model who is married to rapper Sean Paul and lives next door to Bolt in the upscale community, has complained about Bolt’s parties since she moved in two years ago.

“Between the bikes, loud, horrid music, parties and screams, I honestly wish he would go back to where he came from,” Stewart-Henriques wrote on Facebook last week. “He’s a horrible neighbor. He takes his nasty behavior with him everywhere. He’s the ultimate party clown.”

Another unnamed neighbor referred to Bolt as the “neighbor from hell” and said he has “shattered the calm” in what was a nice, quiet suburban neighborhood.

For what it’s worth, other neighbors reportedly claimed that Bolt has not been at his house for over a month and that he was not to blame for the party last weekend that sparked Stewart-Henriques’ Facebook rant.

Dr. Carl Williams, Jamaica’s police commissioner, says police have been informed of the complaints and the “matter has been dealt with.” Stewart-Henriques claims police refuse to intervene because Bolt is a national hero.

Bolt is not the first world-renowned athlete to be labeled a nuisance as a neighbor, and he won’t be the last. When you represent a nation by winning gold medals at the Olympics, special privileges are typically a given.
