The viral internet sensation known as Batting Stance Guy may be tough to beat when it comes to impersonating the batting stances of most MLB players, but there’s no way he can top Aaron Boone’s impression of Alex Rodriguez.
In addition to being a former All-Star and the manager of the New York Yankees, Boone apparently has a knack for batting stance impressions. During Sunday night’s game between the Yankees and Boston Red Sox, a clip of Boone taking his best shot at A-Rod’s a couple years back was shown. It was literally perfect.

How many hours of studying did that take? If Boone gives the same attention to detail as manager of the Yankees, they should be in very good hands. We haven’t seen anything that accurate since Tim Lincecum hilariously mocked Hunter Pence.
