Aaron Boone still unsure who will start wild-card game for Yankees
Aaron Boone still is unsure who will start the AL wild-card game for the New York Yankees next week. And if he does know who will start it, he’s keeping it a secret from the public.
The wild-card question has been popping up regularly now that the Yankees are locked into the wild card and know that they will be facing the Oakland A’s. Boone was asked on Wednesday who will start the game but said he had “no idea.”
Who will start the Wild Card Game, Aaron Boone?
"A lot of people are asking me that. Friends, family, all that. Honestly, I have no idea."

Yankees GM Brian Cashman was similarly vague about the subject last week.
Masahiro Tanaka started on Wednesday night. CC Sabathia, Lance Lynn, and JA Happ will follow, with the starter for Sunday’s season finale still undetermined.
Tanaka, Happ and Severino seem like the likeliest possibilities for the wild-card game. Many fans and even media members expect Happ will get the ball. The southpaw is 6-0 with a 2.34 ERA since joining the Yankees. The team has won eight of the 10 games in which he has pitched.
