Albert Almora has shoulder contusion after crashing into wall
Albert Almora has a shoulder contusion after crashing into the wall during Tuesday’s Chicago Cubs-St. Louis Cardinals game.
The Cubs outfielder was chasing a ball in the gap in the bottom of the fifth when he crashed into the wall at Busch Stadium. He went down to the ground and was clearly in pain.

Almora was able to walk off the field but was favoring his side. He was replaced in the lineup by Leonys Martin.
The Cubs later announced that X-rays on Almora were negative and that the youngster has a shoulder contusion.

Almora was 0-for-1 with a strikeout in the game. The 23-year-old is batting .295 this season.
