Alex Bregman had some friendly trash talk for Trevor Bauer after being challenged by the Cleveland Indians pitcher.
Bauer trains extensively during the offseason and is looking to spice things up while also drawing attention to one of his training homes — Driveline Baseball. He offered a challenge where he will pay for training for hitters who are willing to take live at-bats off of him at Driveline, which is located in Kent, Wash. While promoting the challenge, Bauer said he would offer a $1,000 bonus for every home run hit off him. He even tagged Alex Bregman in his tweet, saying the Houston Astros star wouldn’t take him up.
Also, $1000 bonus for every homer hit off me. Tag who you would like to see me match up against! You won’t @abreg_1

Bregman responded by saying he would save his dingers off Bauer for the postseason.
I’ll save them for the postseason next year ;) https://t.co/Dtq5HbBoG6

Bauer called Bregman “soft lol” in response, which led Bregman to go scoreboard on him by tweeting video of his home run off Bauer in the ALDS this year.

We’d offer to take live at-bats off Bauer, but he’s probably looking for hitters who can help make him better this offseason. Training with Bregman would probably do the trick.
