Blue Jays hoping to call up Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ‘soon’
The Toronto Blue Jays are refusing to put a date on Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s inevitable call-up.
General manager Ross Atkins said Friday that they hope to bring Guerrero up “soon,” but are not treating it like a day-to-day situation.
"I wouldn't call it day by day. We want to make sure he is built up and he has had some consistency to his playing time." — #BlueJays GM Ross Atkins if Guerrero's situation is being taken day by day or if he still needs a minimum amount of time in Buffalo.

The Blue Jays are almost certainly just waiting for the cutoff date to Super Two eligibility. He has just made it to Triple-A after recovering from an oblique strain and is showing how ready he is to hit at a higher level. It will only be a matter of time now.
