The Milwaukee Brewers’ big offseason may be far from complete.
Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reported on Thursday that the Brewers have been in contact with top free agent right-handers Jake Arrieta and Alex Cobb.
It has already been a winter to remember for Milwaukee, as they acquired a pair of star outfielders in Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich last month. But their rotation is still a bit of question mark, anchored by Chase Anderson and Zach Davies (both of whom had excellent 2017 seasons in fairness but could be due for regressions to the mean).

The Brewers have also been linked to this other blue-chip starter in recent days, and it looks their attention has turned to rounding out their potent offensive roster with some quality pitching depth as well.
