Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Tyrone Taylor now has a very different job from the one that he recently envisioned.
The 25-year-old Taylor, who was called up by the team this weekend, told the media Saturday that he interviewed for a job with FedEx a day before getting the unexpected call, per Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Taylor, a former top prospect, will serve as a reinforcement for the banged-up Brewers outfield. He had spent the last seven-plus years in the minor leagues (hitting .269 with a .738 OPS over that span), so you can hardly blame him for trying to secure some side hustle.

At the very least, Taylor might have been a better worker than this FedEx guy.
