Report: Cardinals could have interest in Greg Holland
The St. Louis Cardinals have been seeking a back-end reliever for a while, and with Wade Davis off the board, they could take a long, hard look at the man Davis is replacing in Colorado.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB.com, St. Louis could be a possible landing spot for former Rockies closer Greg Holland, who remains a free agent.
#STLCards are a possible destination for Greg Holland, with Wade Davis off the board. Cardinals signed Gregerson but have net deficit of relievers since season ended (Oh, Nicasio, Duke, Rosenthal). @MLB @MLBNetwork

Holland struggled down the stretch in 2017, but he had an All-Star caliber season, saving 41 games with a 3.61 ERA. The Cardinals want to shore up their bullpen and have been linked with Holland since the offseason started. Don’t be shocked if this one ends up coming to fruition.
