Christian Yelich ties record by homering in fourth straight game
Reigning NL MVP Christian Yelich has picked up right where he left off last season.
Yelich hit his fourth home run of the season on Sunday in as many games, becoming the sixth player in MLB history to accomplish the feat. He joined some very illustrious company in the process.

No one has ever homered in their first five games of the new season, so if Yelich can keep it going for one more day, he’ll claim the record for himself.
Yelich was so dominant toward the end of the 2018 season that he was essentially getting the Barry Bonds treatment. It’s fitting that he has now matched one of Bonds’ historic feats, and one has to wonder if teams will start doing that to him again.
