Diamondbacks hit back-to-back home runs off Aaron Nola in Game 6
The Arizona Diamondbacks got to work quickly on Monday in Philadelphia.
Arizona sluggers Tommy Pham and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit back-to-back home runs off Aaron Nola in the top of the second inning of Game 6 of the NLCS at Citizens Bank Park. The team did not score in the first, but Pham got the team on the board in the second, homering on a 2-2 pitch.

That put Arizona up 2-0 and quieted the home crowd. After those homers, Alek Thomas walked and Evan Longoria doubled him in to make it 3-0.
It was quite a start for the visiting Diamondbacks, who entered the game down 3-2 in the series.
Philly of course didn’t let that keep them down. They immediately answered with a run in the bottom of the inning to make it 3-1.
Pham had been benched in Game 5. Maybe that’s what he needed to fuel him for Game 6.
