New York Yankee star Giancarlo Stanton is moving toward a return to the big leagues.
Stanton is set to restart his rehab assignment on Tuesday, though there is no clear timetable for when he’ll be ready to return to the Yankees.
Giancarlo Stanton is scheduled to play with @TampaTarpons tomorrow and Wednesday. He will have an off-day Thursday, then join @swbrailriders to continue his rehab.

Stanton’s last rehab assignment was cut short with a calf problem, and he’s had a very difficult time getting back into action for the Yankees. He hasn’t played a Major League game since March 31, first due to a shoulder issue and then the calf. Barring any further setbacks, however, it sounds like he should be back fairly soon.
