Several amazing photos of the late Pete Rose have resurfaced on social media.

The tragic news broke Monday that Rose died earlier in the day at his Las Vegas home. The baseball icon was 83.

Following the news of Rose’s death, fans and peers alike began sharing various photos of the Cincinnati Reds icon.

Rose was endearingly nicknamed “Charlie Hustle” for his thrilling and brash style of play. The dynamic pictures of Rose that circulated accurately reflected the kind of player he was: one-of-a-kind.

Despite being MLB’s all-time hits leader, Rose has yet to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The 1973 NL MVP had every accolade imaginable to deserve a place in Cooperstown. But his past gambling scandal left a stain on his legacy that followed him up to his death.

Rose’s legendary MLB journey spanned 24 seasons, 19 of which were with the Reds. His illustrious career included 3 World Series rings, an NL MVP award, an NL Rookie of the Year trophy, 3 batting titles, 2 Gold Gloves, and 17 All-Star nods.
