Dodgers’ Joe Kelly has funny comment about Rockies’ official scorer
As has been the case too often in 2019, Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Joe Kelly had a night to forget on Friday. Kelly gave up five hits in an eight-run Colorado fifth, lifting his ERA to 6.26 despite giving up only one earned run.
Kelly still felt like he got some tough luck during that inning. The Rockies managed four infield singles off him, and the decision to rule all of them hits was a bit marginal. It opened the door for a great quote after the game.
Joe Kelly, not a fan of tonight's official scorer: "I'm not a believer in me giving up five hits. It is Colorado. And we're in Denver. Who knows, that guy up there could be f**king high."

Even if he has a point, Kelly is unlikely to garner a lot of sympathy from Dodger fans at this juncture. His move to Los Angeles has been a disaster, and little has gone right for him. At least he still seems to have a sense of humor.
