The Boston Red Sox made their visit to the White House on Tuesday to be recognized for winning the World Series. Last week, we showed you the American flag blazers that Jonny Gomes had ordered and the team was supposed to wear on the trip. The entire team didn’t wear them, but Gomes wasn’t going to let that opportunity get away.
Gomes proudly wore the patriotic sport coat along with his white pants and stuck out like a sore thumb. As expected, the Red Sox and their beards had a great time. David Ortiz even took a selfie with President Obama.
